The Dust Is Settling

Or not. We've managed to get the place to some sort of liveable state where no one trips on the way to the bathroom or has to scream for help when we've run out of toilet paper. But still, it's one humongous mess that I'll have to take time to clean up. And no, I'm not looking forward to it.

For the record, we've been on the move pretty much every two years.

2003: Singapore to the States.

2004: We move into our little condo at Alveswood, San Jose

2005: We move to a townhouse in San Jose

2007: We move to our little house in garlic country Gilroy

2010: We orchestrate a crazy move back to Singapore

2011: We move to good old Faber Heights.

And I don't think we'll be moving for a while. Our living space is tiny but what I'm thankful for are the wide, open spaces in the complex where the kids can bike, run and get plenty of fresh air. They're already loving the two playgrounds and we've finally taken their bikes and skate scooters out of storage. It reminds me a little of Gilroy where the kids would be biking in the evenings, running around and playing with one another. That alone is enough to put a big smile on my face. :)
